**This idea was implemented in the Android M release in 2015.**
This is a demonstration of how a fine permissions manager should work on Android. Currently, Android does not have a fine permissions manager that allows the user to toggle which data an application can access. To install the application, the user must accept all the permissions.
This application contains four functions–installed applications, calendar, contacts, and microphone–and the user is able to toggle which data this application has permission to access. This implementation shows that a fine permissions manager can be implemented on Android without any extra work needed by the developer.
